Designed specifically for the marine environment in non corrosive materials, so waterproof that they are even submersible! Using an in line motor that can lift up to 340kg, the clutchless ball screw design always runs in sync on dual lift applications and never binds. The ball screw spins freely when actuator is fully extended or closed, thus eliminating costly limit switches or overrides. Motor draw is only 5 amps @ 12 volts. Because of the 12 volt actuation, installation is very simple, requiring only that the unit(s) be mechanically through fastened, and joined with a single electrical cable, saving hours of work and frustration compared to hydraulic systems. The actuators are self locking in both directions at any point of travel, so you can be confident the hatch will stay at any position you choose. Actuator housings are glass reinforced UV resistant Celanex 3300, and the push rod is stainless steel, for years of reliable service even in totally exposed installations.
