Fire alarms are supplied without sensors. Sensors are available at different heat trigger settings, 60ºC for galley and 73ºC for engine room. A two sensor system may have one 60ºC and one 73ºC sensor fitted to monitor a galley and an engine room, but could also be fitted with two 73ºC sensors for monitoring two engine rooms in a catamaran.
